Fireside Chat

This support call is designed to allow all Coaches to better understand “best practices” in the delivery and facilitation of our Coaching Subjects (Topics) that we refer to as our Coaching Collateral, Coaching Topics or Coaching Materials. Mastering these skills is paramount to maintaining a successful Coaching Practice and to ensure long-term client retention and getting multiple referrals from your clients.  


The Call

We spend 55 minutes on the conference call and attempt to cover the items outlined in the attached “Guide for Coaching” pdf.


Please be aware that all of our calls for FIRESIDE CHAT are recorded and posted to the library for our future Coaching reference and for our skills development process.


The process is organized in a logical manner. Each week:

  • We discuss one coaching topic.
  • We move to the next Coaching Topic in our Coaching Modules in the order they are arranged in each Coaching Module
  • We move from Module 1 through Module 5 in order of the Topics in the Coaching Modules.
  • We ask everyone to pre-read the Topic and the application exercises for that week….. in advance of the call, so we can all benefit from the questions, insights and contribution of all Coaches, regardless of their length of experience.
  • We all ask, present and submit questions, experiences and best practices with our clients….regarding the delivery of the specific Topic being facilitated.
  • We ask you to share your insights.....both as a coach and from your experiences from your previous business and corporate backgrounds in the past. This is extremely valuable.
  • We ask someone to volunteer to deliver the Coaching Overview and Coaching Objectives for each Topic at the beginning of the calls.
  • We ask for your insights, AHA moments and “take-aways” from the discussions and presentations of the call for that day.


The Schedule

We continue to meet weekly on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. Pacific (4:00 p.m. Eastern). If you have ever wondered how to improve the delivery of…. the impact to and the value of the strategies, principles, tactic and tools our clients need to improve their business, this is the place to be on Monday afternoons. Block this call out in your default Diary and/or your Block schedules.


We have created a schedule of Call topics for each FIRESIDE CHAT support call so you can see in advance, which subjects, topics and sessions are being discussed on a particular week. This schedule is updated when necessary and the current schedule covers the time frame for our calls for a period of approximately 6 to 12 months.
