Business Insurance

The FocalPoint shared insurance program is a group business insurance program negotiated with a single carrier to minimize costs to franchisees. Each FocalPoint franchisee is required through our agreements to carry business insurance and this program helps our franchisees to save money on their premiums.

We strongly recommend Coaches carry professional general liability and broad form contractual liability insurance to cover errors, omissions or negligent acts of at least $1,000,000 aggregate per policy year, which may not have a deductible or self-insured retention of over $5,000.
 
If a vehicle is operated in connection with your Franchised Business you should purchase automobile liability coverage in the greater of (i) the amount required by all applicable state and federal laws, or (ii) $1,000,000 for each person killed or injured, and, subject to that limit for each person, a total minimum liability of $2,000,000 for any number of persons injured or killed in one accident, and a minimum limit of $300,000 for injury, destruction or loss of use of property of third persons as the result of any one accident.

You will still receive the benefit of lower premiums but must utilize a different process to get the coverage. Additional coverage is available through the phone number as well if you need specialized coverage in other areas or if your annual revenue projection is higher than $250,000.
